Associate Therapist
AMFT #145884
As a warm and compassionate therapist, I’m committed to creating a safe, affirming, and healing space where you feel truly seen and understood. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I provide a supportive environment where your story, culture, and lived experiences are honored with deep respect and care.
I take a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to therapy, working with individuals and couples. My practice integrates modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed strategies, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed techniques, and Attachment Theory. With specialized training from the Long Beach Trauma Recovery Center, I am dedicated to supporting trauma survivors, LGBTQ+ individuals, and BIPOC communities in their healing journey.
Therapy with me is a collaborative space where you can show up as your full, authentic self. You are the expert in your own life, and together, we’ll build understanding, healing, and real change.

A book that’s had a significant impact on my personal or professional growth is…
The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk. As someone who values the intersection of scientific research and the deeply human emotional experience, I found this book to be an incredible resource. It not only highlights the profound ways trauma manifests in the body but also offers a holistic, compassionate approach to healing—something I strive to bring into my own work with clients.
My favorite part of the therapeutic process is…
witnessing my clients recognize and celebrate their small but meaningful victories—those moments of growth that often go unnoticed but are so deeply significant. Whether it's a shift in perspective, setting a boundary, or simply showing up for themselves in a new way, these moments serve as powerful reminders of their resilience and capacity for change. Seeing my clients step into their power, little by little, is what makes this work so fulfilling.
One misconception people often have about therapy is…
that it’s only for people who are “broken” or “not normal.” Unfortunately, societal stigma often paints seeking therapy as taboo, which can discourage people from getting the support they deserve. In reality, therapy is for everyone, whether you're navigating life transitions, processing past experiences, or simply seeking personal growth. It provides a safe, affirming space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, helping you create meaningful change and build a more fulfilling life.
My go-to self-care activity I do to unwind after a challenging day is…
by moving my body—whether it’s a mindful walk through my neighborhood or park or a gentle yoga session at home. Engaging in intentional movement helps regulate my nervous system and brings a sense of calm to my mind. I also incorporate daily affirmations, such as, “I have done the best I could with what I had today,” to acknowledge my efforts and close the day with self-compassion.
